CCNF-NDI Meeting at Cox’s Bazar


A brief dialogue with Asia Pacific Executive members of National Democratic Institute ” NDI” for international affairs held today evening with CCNF member organization Representatives at PHALS sub office, Cox’s bazar.

Both the parties gave emphasize on future challenges on humanitarian response to FDMN, Democratic practice /Good governess both local and national level. CCNF members expressed their Deep concern about localization, implementation of GB commitment and accountability of INOG /UN agencies to local communities. CCNF also highlighted cost minimization of INGOs/UN agencies in field level Humanitarian response/ building pooled fund as well. Otherwise in future there will be a negative impact in local/ National Economy. CCNF members also stated that till today we are lucky enough that no massive disaster yet to be happened on other part of the world. CCNF members requested the delegates for thinking about software support to both host and FDNN in respect of Peaceful co-existence till repatriation while there are demographic imbalance in Ukhya and Teknuf due to presence of about one million Refugees.

Representatives from Mutki Cox’s Bazar Nongar, ISD, YPSA, CODEC, AKLAB, BRAC, DCRDC, COAST Trust, GagoNari, Ornob ,PHALS actively participated in the meeting.
